GENERAL SUMMARY
The Lab Lead reports directly to the Lab Supervisor and is responsible for all Labs Technicians, insures they are
fully trained and complies with all their daily tasks.


Education/Experience (Minimum):
* High School diploma/GED.
* Knowledge of computers (i.e. SAP, Microsoft Office)
* Food QA lab work experience (preferred)


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Duties include but not limited to tomato paste analysis such as titrations, mold reading, Bostwick
and solids analysis etc.
* Back-up for Lab Technicians as needed
* Data entry and excel reporting
* Attends DDS meetings and communicates issues to Quality Manager or Plant manager
* Communicates any GMP or Sanitation violations to supervisors daily
* Performs audits
* Prepares samples
* Reviews documentations
* Other tasks as assigned by the Lab supervisor or Quality Manager


Other Requirements:
Seasonal / Temporary - July through October timeframe *

Must be able to work the entire season. (mid-June to mid-October)
* Must be able to work any shift, be able to work 7 days/week and be willing to work overtime when
needed
* Strong organization, supervisor and communication skills
* Quick learner and able to work independently
* Must be able to work efficiently and accurately
* Must be able to frequently lift 25 lbs.
* Must be able to climb stairs frequently

Plant Environment

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
