Position Summary

The Financial Data Analyst role reports directly to the Finance Director - Global Consolidations and is responsible for partnering with each region and line of business to support consolidation of global results for the Land Based Gaming organization. This is an integral and highly visible role, reporting to the Director of Consolidations Gaming and partnering closely with Finance Leadership across the various lines of business.

This individual needs to be highly impactful, with a need for a detail-oriented self-starter able to multitask and meet routine and non-routine deadlines. As a business partner to the Commercial organization, Financial Data Analyst will be driving key strategic analysis to influence business leaders to make relevant decisions on revenue, spend and investments.

This a hybrid position which can be based in our Chicago or Las Vegas office.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Optimize and roll forward standard reporting across all regions and lines of business in the Global Gaming Segment
  • Own and manage the Global Gaming calendar while keeping key stakeholders informed of key deadlines and deliverables that allow us produce all materials needed for quarterly earnings release and annual Long Range Planning
  • Prepare Board of Directors and Executive Leadership presentation materials
  • Identify key business drivers and provide analysis of variances from targeted results a
  • Determine trends in performance in consultation with the Finance Director.
  • Effectively business partner with key stakeholders across all departments within the organization.
  • Support the financial planning, forecasting, and reporting process of our Operating Expenses
  • Partner with accounting to validate accruals, prepaids, or reclasses for prepaids are recognized correctly
  • Prepare Monthly and Quarterly financial presentation of expense results for Senior Leadership
  • Be a culture leader among peers

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 1+ years Finance, Accounting, or business-related experience
  • Strong critical thinking skills coupled with the ability to analyze performance results
  • Strong proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to synthesize complex and diverse information and transform that information into simple and easily understood professional executive presentations.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with a curiosity to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders and inform and influence critical decisions
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines & manage multiple tasks at once
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau is preferred
