Your missions :

Location: Lenexa, KS

Job Summary and Purpose:

The Warehouse Technician I is a position in the frozen distribution warehouse that performs an array of functions that may include receiving and processing of incoming stock and materials; picking and filling orders from stock; packing and shipping orders. This position ensures that routine daily functions are completed accurately and timely and in accordance with all applicable regulations and policies.

Responsibilities and Key Duties:

Master of Warehouse Technician I Responsibilities and Key Duties: Applicable Technician I Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), basic understanding of warehousing processes and flows, understanding of GMP requirements for warehousing functions and understanding of waste handling.

Receiving of incoming stock and materials

* Unload deliveries from carriers

* Verify incoming deliveries per applicable SOPs

* Receiving functions within operating system

* Organization of material into appropriate storage areas

* Material movement using power industrial truck

Order Preparation and Distribution

* Obtain orders from US or Export customer relations departments

* Accurately pick orders from locations noted

* Inspection of items and quantity picked

* Issuance of order items within operating system and on USDA compliance logs

* Prepare packaging per applicable SOPs

* Export documentation preparation

* Process shipping through specific carriers

* Process shipping through specific carriers and stage for pick up

Work Flow & Reporting

* Accurate and concurrent record keeping

* Verification of incoming semi-finished stocks from production

* Concurrent material movement physically and within operating system

* Demonstrate a culture safety in day to day operations, including performing of JSA's and safety audits

* Quality Assurance understanding, assisting in checking documentation and investigations

* Periodic inventory cycle counts

* Yearly physical inventory

Training & Compliance

* Comply with area SOP's

* Comply with company policies

* Comply with USDA regulations

* Comply with safety regulations

* Comply with OSHA and DOT regulations

Qualifications:

* Education - High School Diploma or GED

* Work Experience - 1 year of Warehousing & Distribution experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

* Other (consider certifications, specialized knowledge and/or training, etc.) - Lean Manufacturing, Good Warehousing and Distribution Practices, Cold Chain Packaging and Solutions.

Physical Requirements:

* Able to read, write legibly, and communicate in English

* Visual Inspection

* Frequent repetitions of squatting, bending and twisting

* Frequent standing for long periods of time

* Lifting up to 60 pounds

* Forklift certification

* Department of Transportation (DOT) Certification

* International Air Transportation Association (IATA) Certification

* Handling and shipping of dangerous goods UN1977 Nitrogen Refrigerated Liquid

* Handling and shipping of infectious substance

Working Conditions:

* Special working conditions with LN2 freezer storage of -160
