QUALITY TECHNICIAN II

WHAT TO EXPECT

Key responsibilities:
  • A Quality Technician is responsible for system, process, and product auditing to ensure on-going suitability of our operations in meeting customer quality requirements.
  • Perform incoming, in-process, final inspections / auditing.
  • Utilize software for data entry, reporting and analysis.
  • Participate in and lead cross-functional problem solving, containment, corrective actions, and improvement activities.
  • Depending upon your specific assignment you may also:
  • Have direct or indirect interface with customers and suppliers regarding quality.
  • Coordinate and perform calibrations and gauge studies.
  • Coordinate and perform testing.
  • Coordinate the prototype and production approval processes and documentation (Sample/PPAP).
  • Perform special assignments as required.

ABOUT YOU
  • Experience in manufacturing and quality is preferred.
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks, lifting to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week, plus overtime, with reliable and consistent attendance.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, while maintaining quality standards.
  • Must have good communication skills, with the ability to carry out written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic reading, math, computer, and measurement skills required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship.
