The Senior Manager, Accounts Receivable (AR) & Collections will be a key leadership position within Order to Cash (OTC) Magenta Shared Services reporting to the OTC Value Stream Lead, and will initially assist in implementing new areas within the Finance, Procurement & Supply Chain (FP&SC) Magenta Services group to develop continuous process improvements, procedure documentation, and reports to achieve industry best practices.

This position will manage and be responsible for:
*Accounts Receivable and collections support functions, account receivable management and reporting within Magenta Shared Services including management of the offshore team(s) and their performance.
*Providing guidance to leadership on portfolio trends and operational drivers behind payment behaviors.
*AR and Collections strategies, providing guidance and input into AR policies to resolve any billing disputes, provide reconciliations on accounts, implement payment arrangements, and manage escalations.
*Advising teams on strategy, approach, and solving complex escalations completed by the team.
*AR related systems projects and continuous improvement.
*Selecting and hiring employees for the above mentioned, as well as training and evaluating employees to enhance their performance, development and work product. The Senior Manager also addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions.

This position also acts as an SMR; providing final level review of collections-related work completed by the team. Familiar with using SAP/ERP and partnering with Infosys preferred.

This position must have a strong blend of analytical skills, presentation skills, project management, and ability to develop strong partnership/relationships with key business partners, and is expected to effectively communicate with senior leadership and participate at a senior leadership level within the department.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies for collection of past due customer payments through reciprocal relationships with all levels of leadership and support teams. Provides partnerships across the TFB sales and sales operations organizations
  • Provides leadership and management to team to get results. Provides customer satisfaction through effective coaching and resolution of customer inquiries and billing disputes. Facilitates effective and supportive team relationships. Resolves operational and interdepartmental problems quickly.
  • Communicates business strategies and results to team, empowering them to resolve customer issues. Provides timely feedback to the management team on customer trends, issues, and needs.
  • Ensures quality and volume KPIs are maintained, team training and department documentation are adequate and current.
  • Manages projects for the team, ensuring coordination with other teams, timely completion, and prioritization.
  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree Management or related field (Required)

Work Experience:

  • 7-10 years Customer Service Experience (Required)
  • 7-10 years Accounts Receivable Experience (Required)
  • 4-7 years People Management Experience (Required)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Self-motivated, driven, results oriented (Required)
  • Ability to foster relationships with cross-functional partners and internal stakeholders (Required)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (Required)
  • Strong presentation and reporting competence (Required)
