Position Summary:

We are hiring aHumanResources Business Partner (HRBP)to join our team inMcPherson, Kansas. We areseeking a self-motivated individual with a passion for Human Resources and Associate Relations.Functioning as a business partner to our leadership teams, we'll look to you to provide full-service human resource guidance & support to ensure implementation and achievement of company objectives and initiatives.

Work You'll Do:

  • Lead the HR function by effectively and efficiently managing all aspects of the HR department for our McPherson, Kansas facility
  • Maintain and develop effective internal procedures, handle employee-related issues, support recruiting and retention efforts, and keep performance at peak levels
  • Oversee all areas of HR at the site: including employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance
  • Partner with site leadership to support the strategic objectives of the organization to include manufacturing, operations and administrative functions
  • Work closely with site leadership and corporate HR in rolling out new initiatives, systems, policies, and procedures
  • Proactively monitor the work environment to address trends and areas of needed improvement
  • Manages talent acquisition needs & supports the process with the TA team, including interviewing, hiring, workforce & succession planning
  • Manages training, development and performance management program that ensures all employees are familiar with their job responsibilities, as well as relevant legal and safety requirement
  • Handles investigation and resolution of employee issues, concerns, and conflicts
  • Ensures all employment practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Other duties may be assigned


Team:

This role does not have direct reports, but will report to the Sr Director - HR

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in HR background in a manufacturing / distribution environment or equivalent translatable experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Clear understanding of managing risk
  • Proven success with implementations of programs and initiatives at all levels within organizations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a HR matrix organization is highly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline
  • PHR/SPHR certification preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant HR experience with continued progression
  • Labor relations/Union experience
