Your Job

As an IT Architecture Leader, you will be crucial in shaping our organization's technology landscape. You'll lead a team of skilled IT architects and software engineers, ensuring our systems and platforms' successful design, implementation, and maintenance. Your team's mission is to accelerate by improving product team time to value with improved processes, tooling, and knowledge; innovate by applying best-fit enterprise technology to drive value-driven outcomes; and optimize by simplifying, automating, right-sizing, and securing our IT environment for long-term value.


Our Team

Our team consists of architects, software engineers, and cloud engineers working closely with product teams and infrastructure teams across INVISTA. Working with an agile approach we provide design and implementation of critical services used by other product teams as well as work on advanced technology projects. The team is global with members at multiple locations across the US, UK and India.


What You Will Do

  • Understand, develop, apply, and coach employees on our culture of Principle Based Management
  • Lead and develop a team of IT architects and software engineers.
  • Foster collaboration, encourage innovation and drive excellence within the team.
  • Develop and execute the overall IT architectural strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Evaluate existing systems and propose enhancements or replacements as needed.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust and scalable solutions.
  • Ensure architectural consistency across IT applications and infrastructure.
  • Balance technical feasibility, business requirements, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee the implementation of architectural designs.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance.
  • Address any technical challenges or roadblocks.
  • Work closely with business leaders, product managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Communicate architectural decisions and rationale effectively.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience with application architecture, including hands-on design and implementation
  • Experience mentoring, leading and managing team members while aiding in career development


What Will Put You Ahead


  • Experience working as a software or cloud engineer.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, modern enterprise architecture, and software development methodologies
  • Experience leading in the modernization of applications and platforms
  • Experience working with serverless architecture and cloud native applications
