Job Description

The Sr. Test Automation Engineer is a key member of the team, contributing to foundational operations that directly impact the business, but also generating creative ideas and collaborating with teammates to improve products and solutions.

A day in the life!

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive automated test suites for web applications, APIs, and back-end systems.

  • Perform functional, application and regression, to ensure that developed products meet design specifications and are within total quality management limits and standards. Participate in end-to-end testing coordination.

  • Analyze system logs, Identify, and investigate issues found during testing, assist Software Engineers/PO's in triage and impact analysis.

  • Analyze requirements and contribute actively to refinement sessions to ensure that requirements meet design specifications and standards.

  • Execute performance tests within Scrum Teams to ensure early detection of issues. Assist in troubleshooting and investigation of issues/concerns.

  • Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts. Continuously improve existing automation frameworks and tools. Optimize performance of test execution through innovation.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand project requirements and create effective test strategies to ensure test coverage.

  • Support UAT initiatives by providing data set up, access, and troubleshooting issues.

  • Mentor and guide junior test automation engineers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.

Do you have what it takes?

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 4-6 years proven experience as a Test Automation Engineer with a focus on creating automated test scripts.

  • Strong expertise in automation tools and frameworks (e.g.,Selenium, Appium, Playwright)

  • Proficiency in at least one programming languages such as C# or JavaScript

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in test automation and quality assurance.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure)
  • Knowledge of performance and security testing
  • Experience with testing methodologies (e.g.,Agile,BDD)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
