Job Description

The Staff Software Engineer - Full Stack is a key member of the team who not only contributes great technical solutions that directly impact the business, but who generates creative ideas to improve our products and services.The ideal candidate will take ownership of their work and is comfortable both making decisions and building consensus.

A day in the life!

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Performing all commercial software development duties, including but not limited to technical design, coding, and unit testing so that high quality commercial software releases are delivered to clients in a predictable and consistent schedule according to WellSky development processes

  • Collaborating with solutions team(s) to define requirements, conduct analysis, and solve problems on a single product/service

  • Preparing technical documentation, conduct, and participating in code reviews to ensure that commercial software code meets internal standards and follows industry best practices and the highest quality

  • Offering technical direction and guidance to other product development team members and assisting in managing development environments as well as installing and configuring commercial products

Do you have what it takes?

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

  • 8-10 years of related work experience

  • NET/.NET Core, Angular, JavaScript, SQL Server and Azure Cloud

Do you stand above the rest?

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in designing and developing Web-based applications using C#, Angular, Restful Web API and DevOps

  • Good hands on and working knowledge of Application development and SDLC life cycle process

  • Proficient in debugging applications and performance tuning.

  • Nunit, Xunit, or comparable unit testing framework

  • Experience with an Agile Scrum methodology

  • Must have excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • DevOps and SRE experience (Azure pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform)

  • Experience working with Logic Apps/Biztalk, TypeScript and App Services

  • Experience in healthcare domain

  • Basic understanding of HL7 standards

  • Customer interaction and support skills
