Job Description
The Associate (Employee) Relations Partner will be an objective partner and trusted advisor to HR and leaders, promoting positive associate relations and effectively addressing associate and workplace issues which arise within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • With problem-solving as the key outcome, the AR Partner will advise and consult with leaders on associate performance and behavioral issues consistent with Netsmart's culture and values and in line with applicable legal regulations.

  • Working closely with HR Business Partners, will play an integral role in resolving workplace matters for associates across the US and ensuring equitable and consistent treatment.

  • Will be responsible for making recommendations to leaders on employment actions, including delivery of corrective action, providing interpretation on employment policies and procedures, and identifying resolutions that are fair and aligned with business objectives.

  • Manage investigations into associate grievances and complaints by establishing investigation plans, conducting basic investigations with appropriate documentation, and working with HR leadership to recommend resolutions to the HR Business Partners and business team.

  • Confidently coach and influence leaders and HR team members around best practices and outcomes regarding sensitive employment issues.

  • Demonstrate empathy at all times, especially when dealing with matters of diversity and inclusion.

  • Stay current with applicable Human Resources-related laws, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications

Required

  • At least 3 years of Human Resources work experience related to the duties of the role

  • Bachelor's degree in a related fieldor equivalent work experience

  • At least 1-year work experience with United States employment law

  • Strong client relationship and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and presentation, including strong skills in persuasion and motivation.

  • Ability to operate with autonomy and discretion

Preferred

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) - Society for Human Resource Management ORProfessional in Human Resources (PHR) - HR Certification Institute

  • Understanding HR compliance related to FLSA, EEO, AAP, Wage and Hour, etc.
