How you will do it:

• Prepare and install test units in the sound lab to simulate field installation conditions. This includes but is not limited to brazing, evacuation and charging, duct connection, electrical connection, etc. 
• Connection and maintenance of data acquisition telemetry
• Set up reverberation sound lab for capturing sound power data from test units.
• Calibrate microphone and room equipment.
• Maintain precise lab ambient temperature during testing.
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

What we look for:

• 2-year degree, HVAC license, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-4 years suggested minimum experience.
• Background in acoustics or sound level measurement
• Demonstrated working knowledge and skills in such areas as reading wiring diagrams, modifying unit wiring and controls, instrumentation, electromechanical troubleshooting, and modification of prototypes.
• Ability to lift equipment, compressors, units, motors, sheet metal parts etc.  
• Ability to run tests and make decisions based on test data analysis.
• Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel.
• Ability to operate a forklift is desired.
• HVAC knowledge and experience a must.
