Maxar is seeking a Software Development Intern in Pittsburg, KS for our 2020 Summer Internship Program. The intern will gain real-world software engineering experience at a thriving company. We frequently work in small teams to solve problems, explore new ideas, and learn from one another. The ideal intern for this environment will be enthusiastic and collaborative.

Responsibilities:

• Documenting and testing software applications

• Assessing new application ideas

• Assisting with development of application code

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be a current student enrolled in an accredited University program

• Some experience programming in C, C++, and C# with .NET

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Access and SQL Server

Preferred Qualifications:

• A rising Sophomore or higher in pursuit of a Computer Science/Network Engineering, Engineering, or Mathematics degree

• Excellent analytical and mathematics skills

• Ability to work in teams, communicate effectively and objectively

• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio development tools

• Database and network programming experience
