Job Description
Content Developer

The Content Developer is accountable for the development, implementation, and deployment of all content and promotions on AMCtheatres.com via the CMS using HTML, Javascript and CSS. This role is responsible for prioritizing, developing, and executing all content requests for the website, including the tracking of such requests and partnering with others to gain information and assets needed for completion. This individual must be an organized self-starter with keen attention to detail. Excellent communication is critical, as outreach with other resources and departments will be key to ensure success. This role will also leverage critical thinking to plan, partner, and implement content tests and website personalization, in addition to standard content updates. This role may also play an active role in the establishment or usage of a cross-platform content or asset library. Additionally, technical acumen, tool mastery, and grace under pressure in a 24/7 online environment are essential traits for success in this position.

Job Description
Successfully execute and publish website content updates on a daily basis via the CMS using HTML, Javascript, and CSS. Includes updating existing content/pages as well as developing and publishing new content/pages, implementing 301 redirects, outlining and communicating linking strategies, and implementing SEO updates.

Work closely with other resources and departments to understand the updates needed, locate or aggregate all necessary assets, and communicate progress toward deployment. This role will also work closely with IT and development resources who will help ensure this role has the tools and code needed for success.

Validate all updates in staging and production, republish edits as needed, and communicate status to relevant partners.

Leverage and maintain shared documentation, outline and prioritize all updates, and track status.

Minimum Job Requirements
College degree or equivalent experience in website development.
Ability to easily use CMS system to update and create content.
Experience in office related programs (Outlook, Mail, Word, Excel)
4+ years professional work experience, preferably in B2C ecommerce environment
